Nesting | Wilder's Desert Inspired Nursery
I figured it was probably time to share these photos now that I am considering giving Wilder's room a refresh. He is becoming more of a kid everyday and less of a baby. It's so fun to see his little personality come to life and lately I've been dreaming about about updating the nursery into a space that is more fitting for the boy he is becoming.
This is the only room that I've ever actually gone through the process of making a mood board and following through with a design. It was a complete game changer. It allowed me to budget, buy things in phases, or in some cases wait to see if certain things would go on sale. We didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl, so I wanted the space to be gender neutral, but selfishly I wanted it be a space that I would enjoy being in.
My goal was for the nursery to mirror the style of the rest of our house while being more playful.
